Bra line back lift is a surgical procedure performed in our ambulatory surgery center as outpatient procedure by our plastic surgeons. The procedure is performed by initially performed custom micro liposuction then followed by removal of the excess skin. Care is taken to hide the scar on the bra line.
What is involved?
To tighten the bra skin, our plastic surgeons usually makes an incision along the bra line. Scars are usually hidden within the bra line. Liposuction is often added to this procedure to improve final shape and contour. Depending on skin excess and elasticity, liposuction alone may provide sufficient improvement.
Our Plastic Surgeons performs bra line back lift under general anesthesia as an outpatient procedure. We instruct bra line back lift patients to wear a compression garment for several weeks. Light arm movement is encouraged soon after surgery but strenuous upper body activity is limited for at least several weeks. Patients may drive and return to work once they discontinue narcotic pain medicine.
