At Georgia Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Marietta, GA, we want to introduce you to our newest payment option: cryptocurrency plastic surgery. The answer to the question, “How do you want to pay for that?” is no longer limited to cash, check, or credit card anymore, at least not at our office. Now, if you happen to leave your wallet at home, or you’d prefer an alternative form of payment, you can use bitcoin to pay for your cosmetic treatments.
What Is Cryptocurrency Plastic Surgery?
Cryptocurrency is powerful, and its reach and influence are only going to continue to grow with time. For that reason, we’ve chosen to accept a new form of payment: bitcoin. Cryptocurrency plastic surgery refers to our newest payment option that allows you to use your bitcoin to pay for your cosmetic procedures and treatments.
If you don’t want to pay with cash, credit card, or even write a check, now you don’t have to. Instead, you can pay with this new, innovative form of payment. At Georgia Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, we are proud to be paving the way by pioneering innovations that allow you to pay a different way. We recognize that bitcoin isn’t going anywhere, which is why choosing to add it to our payment options was an easy choice.
What Forms of Cryptocurrency Do You Accept?
Our office is among the first to accept cryptocurrency plastic surgery payments, and they apply to both surgical and non-surgical procedures and treatments. Whether you want to use your bitcoin to pay for your Botox appointments or your Mommy Makeover and everything in between, now you can.
All you need to pay for your treatment is an approved crypto wallet, and then you can use your cryptocurrency to make your payments. Our innovative payment system supports Blockchain.com, Metamask, BitPay, BRD, and others. You can purchase services at our office with:
- Bitcoin (BTC)
- Ethereum (ETH)
- Litecoin (LTC)
- Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC)
- Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
- Dogecoin (DOGE)
- 5 USD-pegged stable coins (GUSD, USDC, PAX, DAI, and BUSD)
- Crypto Wallets and Exchanges (Coinbase, etc.)
How Does It Work?
This payment process may seem complicated, but it’s very simple. Our office uses BitPay, which is a third-party cryptocurrency payment processor. Just like credit card companies act as third-party payment processors, BitPay does as well.
We’ve chosen to use BitPay because they’ve created a system designed with the customer in mind. The checkout process is smooth and painless, and they offer a variety of different cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Dogecoin, among others.
The Payment Process
When you are ready to pay for your consultation, treatment, or procedure, all you have to do is call our office and let us know that you would like to pay with cryptocurrency. Once you make this payment request, we will provide you with a crypto invoice or a link with which you can pay. If your payment exceeds $3,000, you must create a free BitPay account to process your payment.
This is a completely normal and necessary security measure, so you can rest assured that when you create your account and pay your bill, your crypto payment will be completely secure, even more secure than your credit card payments.
Are There Any Processing Fees?
There are fees involved whenever you use a credit card; you just may not think about them. However, the fees associated with paying with crypto are much lower than the ones incurred when paying with a credit card. When you pay with crypto, you’ll be charged a flat 1% fee for every transaction, regardless of the total bill.
A 1% fee is far lower than the fees charged by credit card companies, so in the end, you’ll save money paying for your cosmetic treatments and procedures with crypto. Plus, when you use BitPay, you can rest assured that your payment and information are completely secure.
What Procedures Qualify?
