Surgery location
Your procedure will be performed at Asuch Surgery Center, our fully certified and accredited state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center. Asuch surgery center is located on the first floor of our building. It features well trained surgical staff, top-notch equipment, a private entrance, loving and secure environment for your privacy and safety. The center is just 1 mile from Wellstar Cobb Hospital where our doctors have hospital privileges to perform the same procedures. Our Plastic Surgeons are also on staff at Emory Midtown Hospital, Northside Hospital, WellStar Kennestone Hospital, WellStar Cobb Hospital, and WellStar Windy Hill Hospital. Buttock augmentation surgery is usually performed as an outpatient procedure. It should be performed in an accredited office-based surgical center, outpatient ambulatory surgical center, or a hospital.
Anesthesia
Medications are administered for your comfort during the surgical procedure. The choices include intravenous sedation and general anesthesia. Our doctors will recommend the best choice for you.
HOW IS THE FAT INJECTED INTO THE BUTTOCKS?.
The fat removed from the selected area of the body is carefully processed and purified then it is injected into the buttocks. Usually, a large amount of fat is needed to obtain the best butt lift. In order to get enough fat, our plastic surgeon must liposuction at least 2 areas of your body. After liposuction, we carefully purify the fat so that only the best donor fat cells are re-injected back into your buttocks for augmentation. The fat is placed or transferred to the buttocks with a special cannula using a sterile technique. Our Plastic surgeons will then inject the fat cells into many different areas and depths of the buttocks to achieve the desired result-a technique that causes the fat cells not to be reabsorbed and allows for permanent and natural-looking results. Our Plastic Surgeons will also inject the fat into the gluteus maximus muscle to enhance its shape. The muscularity of the male buttock is actually an advantage for this procedure. The greater muscularity of the male glutes with its highly vascularized tissue gives injected fat cells greater survivability.
After the injected fat cells begin to receive blood supply, they will remain for life. Correct injection methods are essential to achieve a uniform, smooth, natural appearance to the buttocks. HOW LONG DO THE FAT INJECTIONS LAST?
It depends. If the Plastic surgeon harvested, processed, and injected correctly, the result should be long-lasting. Male Brazilian butt lift result is highly dependent upon the experience of the Plastic Cosmetic surgeon. Plastic Surgeons who are not using correct purification or injection methods will not obtain long-lasting results. Be sure that your Plastic surgeon is experienced in this procedure!
WHEN CAN I GO BACK TO WORK AFTER THE BUTT AUGMENTATION PROCEDURE?
Following the Brazilian butt lift procedure, you must not sit directly on your buttocks for up to two weeks. This ensures a permanent result. Many of our patients are able to use modified sitting if they desire to return to work early. Most people can return to work within 2 weeks. You must wear a special garment (to control swelling) for two weeks. There may be a small amount of swelling for up to 6 weeks. Once the swelling is gone, your butt will look and feel completely natural!
However, you should be able to resume all normal activities at 4 weeks post-op.
IF I LIVE OUT, OF TOWN, HOW LONG DO I NEED TO STAY IN ATLANTA?
Many men patients fly into Atlanta to see Dr. Okoro for male butt enhancement procedures. We require a minimum stay of 7 days. Our staff will help you arrange transportation to and from our office throughout your stay. Our office will also arrange transport from Atlanta airport to your hotel. WHAT IS THE COST OF THE BRAZILIAN BUTT LIFT?
The average TOTAL cost of butt augmentation with fat injections, (male Brazilian butt lift) averages $9,900-$15,000 depending on the number of procedures performed. Keep in mind that you also get a complete body resculpting (abdomen and waist) with this procedure. Thus, this fee includes multiple areas of liposuction plus hundreds of micro fat injections to the buttocks. Fees quoted include the physician’s fee, anesthesia, hospital costs, 2 postoperative garments, and all post-operative office visits. You should not have to return for any additional injections. Our doctors have a very special fat injection technique to ensure long-lasting results.
The fee varies slightly depending on the amount of fat, which needs to be extracted in order to achieve the desired result. Our doctors will determine the number of areas, which need to be liposuctioned in order to achieve your goal. This is discussed at length in your consultation.
NOTE: There are other surgeons performing “fat injection to the buttocks” for a lower cost, but be sure to ask them if their results are permanent! When the technique is done too quickly or incorrectly, the fat will NOT last. Be sure to compare apples to apples.

WHAT ABOUT BUTT INJECTIONS WITH HYDROGEL, SILICONE, AND OTHER SUBSTANCES?
Butt injection or augmentation with substances other than fat or butt implant is not FDA approved. Injection of these substances can pose a significant health risk. Our doctors and other Board Certified Plastic Surgeon do not inject these substances because it is not safe. We offer our patients safe buttock enhancement with their own fat cells or with implants.
