How are Tricep implants performed?
After consulting with our plastic surgeons, the correct tricep implants are selected based on your specific needs. All preoperative testing and labs are performed prior to the day of the procedure. On the day of the procedure, when you arrive at our fully accredited ambulatory surgery center, you will meet with certified anesthesia providers to discuss the best anesthesia option for you. You will receive preoperative antibiotics prior to surgery. The procedure is performed utilizing small incisions underarm area. This incision is hidden in armpit. The FDA approved implant is placed beneath the tricep muscle fascia. We do not use drains. We may provide you with a postoperative garment after the procedure depending on the extent of your procedure. You will be provided postoperative pain medication. Most patient experience some bruising, swelling. The vast majority of patients can return to work in one week. We encourage our patients to avoid strenuous activities for 4-6 weeks.

The average cost of tricep implants depends on whether it’s a custom implant or regular implant. The average range is from $8,000 to $15,000. Your individual quote will include the surgeon’s fee, anesthesia costs, facility fees for the operating room and all other supplies and implants needed. Your fees also includes all your follow-up appointments.
